(CIRCA 1969) Robbie was 16 years old when he started his first band along with his (Father) Bob Wittkowski who became his manager.
The First Band was named   “Robbie Wittkowski and the Tennesee Moonshiners, …later renamed  “Robbie  Wittkowski & The Rhythm
Riders.  Others in the Band  all from the Carlisle–Hartford Iowa Area were Randy Fugate, Rick Moore, John Williams, and singer
Robbie Wittkowski.  The Band was asked to play at  a “Honky Tonk “ in Hartford Iowa . All being under age, none of them could leave the stage,
But they were allowed to sing, perform, and play their kind of Country Music. A new  Recording Studio Had just came to Carlisle, Iowa  and
Robbie and the Band decided they needed a  45 RPM record to promote the band, so they decided to visit the Kajac Record Corporation Sound
Studio’s 16 track Recording Studio and “cut”  and “master” their first stereo record release #511-A on the KRC Label. The First song was written
By  songwriter Larry Heaberlin of Des Moines, Iowa, entitled “ FOUR PIECE COUNTRY BAND’ Published by Tall Corn Publishing Co BMI. The 45
RPM Record featured Robbie Wittkowski as Recording Artist, along with the band, and along with the Debbie Long and Don Purdy Singers.
The “B” side of the record  KRC  511-B was written by Larry Heaberlin,  entitled  “LOOKING FOR A RAINBOW” Published by Stringtown Music BMI.
