HISTORICAL TIME-LINE AND PICTURES BELOW.
(CIRCA 1969) Robbie was 16 years old
when he started his first band along with his (Father) Bob Wittkowski who became
his manager.
The First Band was named “Robbie Wittkowski and the Tennesee Moonshiners,
…later renamed “Robbie Wittkowski & The Rhythm
Riders. Others in the Band all from the Carlisle–Hartford Iowa Area were Randy
Fugate, Rick Moore, John Williams, and singer
Robbie Wittkowski. The Band was asked to play at a “Honky Tonk “ in Hartford
Iowa . All being under age, none of them could leave the stage,
But they were allowed to sing, perform, and play their kind of Country Music. A
new Recording Studio Had just came to Carlisle, Iowa and
Robbie and the Band decided they needed a 45 RPM record to promote the band, so
they decided to visit the Kajac Record Corporation Sound
Studio’s 16 track Recording Studio and “cut” and “master” their first stereo
record release #511-A on the KRC Label. The First song was written
By songwriter Larry Heaberlin of Des Moines, Iowa, entitled “ FOUR PIECE
COUNTRY BAND’ Published by Tall Corn Publishing Co BMI. The 45
RPM Record featured Robbie Wittkowski as Recording Artist, along with the band,
and along with the Debbie Long and Don Purdy Singers.
The “B” side of the record KRC 511-B was written by Larry Heaberlin,
entitled “LOOKING FOR A RAINBOW” Published by Stringtown Music BMI.

| Robbie created the "Stars Of Country Music Museum" which traveled
the country for many years allowing fans to see real country stars'
memorabilia wherever they were. Robbie built up a trailer
with showcases and filled them with clothes, records, autographs,
guitars, and all forms of memorabilia and took this mobile museum to the
fans.
